Des Varady Bio

Des joined HealthEdge as an Operating Partner and brings over 25 years of leadership experience in strategy, operations, compliance, and quality. He has led successful initiatives at major provider and payer organizations, including UnitedHealth, Ascension Health, VITAS, and various state Medicaid programs. Currently, Des is the Chief Executive Officer of Corridor, a Fund II portfolio company, and provides support in evaluating investment opportunities for Fund III. Prior to Corridor, he was the Chief Executive Officer at HWT, a healthcare data and audit services firm, where he led the turnaround, growth, and sale of the company. At Sapient, Des contributed to the company’s initial public offering and led global growth and M&A efforts. He has also held leadership roles at Centric Consulting and National Strategies, an international business-to-government consulting firm. Des is a U.S. Army veteran.
