Braden Eddy Bio

Braden is a Senior Vice President on the Business Development team at Hastings. Braden is responsible for sourcing and evaluating new investment opportunities and serves as the corporate development function for Hastings’ portfolio companies. Prior to joining Hastings Equity Partners in 2019, Braden was responsible for corporate development initiatives for Safety Management Systems, the energy and industrial division of Acadian Companies. Braden was responsible for sourcing and executing strategic acquisitions as well as supporting related due diligence and post-integration efforts. Additionally, Braden spearheaded the effort to expand beyond oil & gas into new end markets such as specialty chemicals, gas utilities, consumer goods manufacturing, and other industrial construction markets. Braden managed the business development, recruiting, and project management and completed over $30 million in proposals within 18 months. Braden received a BS in Finance from Louisiana State University where he was an honors student.
