Vinay Mendiratta Bio

Vinay Mendiratta joined HarbourVest in 2019 to lead the US Private Client Group. He focuses on private markets solutions for high net worth clients, family offices, and other distribution channels. Vinay brings nearly 30 years of experience to HarbourVest in private equity and alternatives distribution in both the wealth management and institutional channels. Vinay joined the Firm from Adams Street Partners, where he was head of wealth management sales. Prior to this, he was the head of wealth management distribution at York Capital Management. His previous experience also includes positions at Bankers Trust Company and Merrill Lynch Investment Management. Vinay received a BA in Economics from Duke University in 1989 and an MBA from Columbia Business School in 1994.
