Rob MacGoey Bio

Rob MacGoey joined HarbourVest in 2020 and serves as chief financial officer for the Firm’s management company. In his role, Rob oversees the Corporate Finance & Accounting functions for the Firm. Rob was previously chief accounting officer and controller at Apollo Global Management. Prior to his time at Apollo, Rob was a partner in the Financial Services Assurance and Advisory practices of the New York office. Rob received a BBS from Waterford Institute of Technology in 1997 and an MAcc from University College Dublin in 1998. He is a fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Ireland.
