John Cooney Bio

John Cooney joined HarbourVest’s Investor Relations team in 2020, with a focus on coordinating, monitoring, and enhancing relationships with new and existing investors and consultants. John joined the Firm from BlackRock where he was a Director in the Institutional Client Business, responsible for maintaining and developing relationships with institutional investors. John received a BS in Finance from Carroll School of Management at Boston College. He holds the Chartered Financial Analyst designation.
