Dorit Zak Bio

Dorit Zak joined the HarbourVest Tel Aviv investor relations team in 2023 and focuses on enhancing and maintaining relationships with new and existing investors. Prior to joining the Firm, Dorit was the head of Alternative and strategic relationships at Poalim Equity, the investment arm of Bank Hapoalim, one of Israel’s largest banks. Prior to that she headed Alternative investments at Clal Insurance, a leading Israeli Insurance company, where she managed a portfolio of over 200 funds. In both roles Dorit was responsible for investing in various fund strategies and geographies. Dorit also headed direct investments for both firms heading all due diligence and investing processes. Prior to those roles, Dorit was an investment banker both at Poalim Equity and at Merrill Lynch. Dorit received an MBA from Duke University and a BA in Economics and Statistic from The Hebrew University of Jerusalem.
