Doug Hill Bio

Doug Hill is a Senior Partner and member of the Investment Committee of The Halifax Group. Doug joined Halifax in 2019 and provides leadership in the sourcing, evaluation, execution and development of investments. Doug brings 18 years of private equity experience to Halifax. Prior to joining Halifax, Doug was a Managing Director and member of the Executive Committee of Nautic Partners, a leading middle market private equity firm. While at Nautic, Doug invested in and was on the board of 15 different middle market companies spanning the industrial and business services sectors. Prior to Nautic, Doug was an investor at H.I.G. Capital. He began his career as a management consultant at Bain & Company. Doug graduated from Princeton University where he earned his undergraduate degree with high honors. He also earned an MBA from the Harvard Business School, where he graduated with distinction.
