Zachary Horat Bio

Zachary Horat is a Principal in H.I.G. Capital’s San Francisco office. He is responsible for all aspects of the investment process, including originating, structuring, financing, and executing post-closing growth and operational strategies. Zachary has private equity investing experience across a wide range of industries, including healthcare, technology, business services, and industrials. He currently serves on the board of directors of several H.I.G. portfolio companies. Prior to joining H.I.G. Capital in 2018, Zachary worked at Partners Group where he executed middle market private equity investments. He began his career at Macquarie Group. Zachary earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Montana and his M.B.A. from the Stanford Graduate School of Business. He is also a CFA Charterholder.
