Tiago Branco Bio

Tiago is a Principal based in H.I.G.’s São Paulo office. With nearly a decade of experience in private equity investment in Latin America, Tiago focuses on all aspects of the investment process, including sourcing, transaction negotiation, and portfolio company management.  He has experience in a number of industries, including technology, media, and telecommunications. Tiago currently serves on the board of directors of several H.I.G.'s portfolio companies. Prior to joining H.I.G., Tiago was with Rio Bravo Investments, where he worked on private equity investments. Before that, he was an M&A/FP&A manager at Ser Educacional, a publicly traded education company, where he led several M&A transactions. Tiago earned a Bachelor of Economics degree from the University of Pernambuco. He is fluent in Portuguese, English and Spanish.
