Steven Kozhimala Bio

Steve is a Principal in H.I.G.’s Advantage Fund and is based in the New York office. He is responsible for all aspects of the investment process including origination, transaction structuring, financing, and execution of post-closing growth strategies. Steve has over a decade of experience investing in and advising middle market companies. He focuses on the distribution, packaging, industrial services, and manufacturing sectors. Steve also sits on the board of several H.I.G. portfolio companies. Prior to joining H.I.G., Steve worked at Harris Williams & Co., where he advised clients on sell-side M&A transactions. He received both his undergraduate degree, magna cum laude, and M.B.A. from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.
