Peter Hart Bio

Peter Hart is a Managing Director in the Middle Market Fund and is based in the New York office. He is responsible for all aspects of the investment process including sourcing, transaction structuring, financing and executing post-closing growth and operational strategies. Peter has private equity investing experience across a wide range of industries including business services, consumer, chemicals, and industrials. Prior to joining H.I.G., Peter worked for AEA Investors in the Consumer/Retail Group. He began his career at the Boston Consulting Group, based in the Chicago Office. Peter earned an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School and an undergraduate degree in Finance Entrepreneurship from Indiana University.
