João Almeida Bio

João is a Principal in H.I.G.’s London office where he focuses on investments across a range of industries, including TMT and Healthcare. Prior to joining H.I.G., João worked at AMERRA Capital and Lead Edge Capital, both US based private equity firms. João started his career at Bain & Company, where he spent most of his time helping Private Equity firms with commercial due diligence and post-acquisition work. João holds an M.B.A. from Columbia Business School and a M.Sc. in Civil Engineering from the Instituto Superior Tecnico.
