HJ Kim Bio

HJ is a Principal in H.I.G.’s New York office. He is responsible for all aspects of the investment process, including origination, transaction structuring, financing, and execution of post-closing growth strategies. HJ has executed private equity investments in a wide range of industries, including healthcare, consumer, and business services. Prior to joining H.I.G., HJ worked at THL Partners, focusing on investments in the healthcare and consumer sectors. He began his career in investment banking at Citi. HJ received his M.B.A. from Harvard Business School and his undergraduate degree, summa cum laude, from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.
