Geoff Lieberthal Bio

Geoff Lieberthal is a Managing Director on the H.I.G. Advantage team based in San Francisco. He is responsible for all aspects of the investment process, including origination, transaction structuring, financing, and execution of post-closing growth strategies. Geoff has nearly 20 years of experience investing in healthcare companies across provider services, payor services, and healthcare technology. He has led investments in and served as a Director for over a dozen healthcare investments. Prior to joining H.I.G., Geoff worked at Two Sigma, Lee Equity Partners, TPG Capital, and Bain Capital. He began his career at Bain & Company. Geoff received a B.A. in Engineering Sciences, cum laude, from Dartmouth College and his M.B.A. from Stanford Business School. He currently serves as Vice Chairman of the Healthcare Private Equity Association.
