Mr. Northington is a managing partner of Guardian and leads new investment acquisitions, manages portfolio companies, and shares in the responsibilities of managing Guardian Capital Partners’ strategy and team operations. He has been with Guardian since September 2018. Mr. Northington is a member of the firm’s Investment Committee, is Chairman of Flat River Group, Newair, Nwestco and ForgePoint Services and serves on the board of numerous portfolio companies. Prior to Guardian, Mr. Northington was the Chief Financial Officer of SupplyOne, Inc., a national provider of packaging products and services, where he had enterprise-wide responsibility for finance, accounting, human resources, administration, and corporate development/M&A. Prior to his tenure at SupplyOne, Mr. Northington was a Partner with MVP Capital Partners, an operationally-focused middle market private equity fund based in Radnor, PA. Across his private equity and operating executive experience, Mr. Northington has led or managed more than 30 buyout transactions. Earlier in his career, Mr. Northington was the Chief Operating Officer for a knowledge management software start-up; was Vice President, Strategic Alliances and served as head of business development at a global sports media and technology company; and was Director of Product Marketing for a supply chain software company. Mr. Northington earned his BA in history from Davidson College, where he was a four-year letterman on the men’s soccer team.
