Adrian Ironside Bio

Mr. Ironside is a managing partner of Guardian and supports deal execution and portfolio company management, and shares in the responsibilities of managing Guardian Capital Partners’ strategy and team operations. As Chief Operating Officer, Mr. Ironside oversees certain operational areas of Guardian including ESG, technology, team training support, etc. He has been with Guardian for sixteen years. Mr. Ironside is a member of the firm’s Investment Committee. Prior to Guardian, Mr. Ironside had an extensive professional career in technology operations and management, project management, and software development. Spending eight years with Goldman Sachs, Inc. in its Private Wealth Management division, he had oversight responsibility for three business critical software development teams and rose to Senior Manager. Mr. Ironside earned his MBA with a triple concentration in finance, strategic management and entrepreneurship from The Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania and his BS in computer science and mathematics from Morehouse College where he graduated summa cum laude.
