Magnus Helgason Bio

Magnus Helgason is a Managing Director at GrowthCurve Capital. Previously Magnus was a Vice President at Goldman Sachs in the Principal Investment Area within the Merchant Banking Division, where he focused on Financial & Information Services investing in the Americas. Prior to joining Goldman Sachs in 2013, Magnus served as Director - Asset & Liability Management at Landsbankinn where he played a key role in restructuring the bank following the global financial crisis. Magnus holds a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering from the University of Iceland and MBA from Columbia Business School, where he graduated with Dean’s Honors.
