Marco Bernardi Bio

Marco leads HLD’s investment efforts in the Italian market. Marco Bernardi graduated from the University of Florence. He started his career as a civil engineer in London. After attending the MBA at UCLA Anderson in Los Angeles, Marco joined The Boston Consulting in 2006. After three years as consultant, he entered the private equity sector in 2008 by joining the team of Groupe Alpha in Milan. During its 12 years at Groupe Alpha Marco contributed to the fundraising and deployment of three funds completing seven investments. In 2020 Marco joined Azimut to start-up the private market investment platform contributing to fundraising and deployment of Demos and Ophelia funds.
