Mr. Hovey is a Founder and Managing Director of Greyhawk Capital Management. Prior to founding Greyhawk in 2006, Mr. Hovey was an equity research analyst in the New York and London offices of Credit Suisse from 1995-2001. While at Credit Suisse, he covered major energy companies, and then IT Services companies, achieving a #1 ranking in the Reuters Portfolio Manager Survey and a #2 ranking in Institutional Investor. He started his career at Brown Brothers Harriman & Co. in the firm's investment training program (1993-1995). On the industry side, Mr. Hovey has been the General Manager of Eye Safety Systems (2002-2003) and Direct Sales Manager at Smith Optics (2002). He currently serves as a director of several of Greyhawk's portfolio companies: Active Business Network, IMSI/Design, Alturas Energy, Raffles Ventures, and Reinstein/Ross. Mr. Hovey received a BA in American Civilization from Middlebury College in 1991.
