Lawrence Greer Bio

Larry Greer founded Greer Capital Advisors in September 2002 and directed the raise of the S.C.O.U.T. Dr. Greer began venture and private equity investing in 1986 following a 14 year period as a private dental practitioner in Birmingham, AL. From 1986-1989 he served as a self-employed consultant assisting local venture projects with business plan preparation, strategic planning, sourcing of debt and equity financing and operational oversight. In 1989, he joined Dunn Investment Company as Director of Healthcare Investments. In that role, Dr. Greer managed a portfolio of stocks in public healthcare companies and private equity investments specifically involving the healthcare industry. Dr Greer holds a B.S. from Tulane University, D.D.S. from Emory University and an M.B.A. from Emory University.
