Omear Khalid Bio

Omear Khalid is an investor operator with nearly two decades of experience across industrial manufacturing, maritime, aerospace & defense, technology, and healthcare. As a Partner at Grays Peak Capital, he originates and manages private equity and private credit investments in industrial platforms—particularly maritime, aerospace & defense, and manufacturing—overseeing deal execution and portfolio value creation. He is also the Co Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Americraft Marine Group, an owner operator of U.S. Jones Act shipyards. Earlier in his career, Omear spent time covering technology and healthcare companies before moving into roles at Goldman Sachs and The Stephens Group, where he focused on aerospace & defense and diversified industrials. He later became a Principal at a growth equity fund. Omear also serves as a senior advisor and board member to several growth stage companies. He earned a B.S. in Finance from Indiana University’s Kelley School of Business.
