James Marley Bio

Jim is a Managing Director at Graycliff Partners. He previously served as Managing Director at HSBC Capital where he managed the private equity investment program since inception. He joined HSBC in 1991 and was involved in the creation of HSBC Capital US (HCUS), formerly known as Midland Montagu Private Equity. Prior to joining HSBC, Jim worked as an investment banker at Lehman Brothers and Merrill Lynch. Jim serves on the Board of Directors for several portfolio companies as well as on selected fund advisory boards. He received his MBA from The Wharton School.
