Erik Bloom Bio

Erik Bloom is a Partner of Goense & Company, responsible primarily for completing new investments. Mr. Bloom began his private equity career in 1991 and has been working with John Goense since 1996, playing a key role at both Allstate and Goense Bounds.Mr. Bloom began his private equity career at Continental Illinois Venture Corporation (?CIVC?), a $300 million middle market private equity group at Bank of America, from 1991 to 1995. During 1996, he was a management consultant in the London office of Bain & Company. Mr. Bloom graduated magna cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa with a BA degree in Economics and Business Administration from Vanderbilt University and earned an MBA and was a Palmer Scholar at the University of Pennsylvania?s Wharton School of Business.
