Nicolas de Saint Laon Bio

Nicolas de Saint Laon joined Gimv’s Sustainable Cities team in 2017. Previously, he was Managing Director and Deputy Head of the leveraged finance team at Societe Generale CIB in Paris. He arranged more than 25 deals as Mandated Lead Arranger and Bookrunner for LBO transactions in various industries and sizes since 2005. He also led the monitoring of 15 small and mid-cap portfolio companies. Prior to joining SG CIB, Nicolas spent 4 years withing Astorg Partners, a leading mid-market French private equity firm, where he completed transactions in BtC, healthcare and automotive. Nicolas started his career at Arthur Andersen in Transaction Services, where he executed during 3 years numerous missions in audit, due diligence, business plans development and financial diagnosis of underperforming companies for corporates and private equity firms. Nicolas graduated from Neoma - formerly ESC Rouen.
