Rafael Natanek Bio

Rafael joined Gilde Healthcare in 2018. He is General Partner for Gilde’s Private Equity funds, responsible for leading deal origination and execution in multiple healthcare sectors across Europe, as well as coordinating the fund’s portfolio management activities. Prior to joining Gilde, Rafael served as Partner at Bain & Company in London, advising private equity funds on healthcare transactions, as well as pharmaceutical and medtech companies on strategy, organization, and commercial issues. Rafael holds an MSc in Chemical Engineering from Lund Institute of Technology, Sweden and an MSc in Biomedicine from Lund University, Sweden. He completed his thesis at the University of California, Berkeley.
