Gareth Fitzgerald Bio

Gareth is an investment professional with a background in corporate finance and accounting. Prior to GHO, he was with OMERS Private Equity and responsible for sourcing, evaluating and executing deals in healthcare, business services and software; also working closely with management teams across the portfolio. Gareth started his financial services career with Grant Thornton and Deloitte before moving to Rothschild & Co to advise on multiple M&A transactions in the consumer sector. He previously served as an Officer in the Royal Marines where he undertook a variety of leadership and training roles, including leading teams of up to 35 Commandos on active operations. Gareth has a BEng in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Nottingham and is a Chartered Accountant.
