Steven Gibson Bio

Mr. Gibson is one of Genesis Park’s founding partners. Mr. Gibson has over twenty years experience advising, structuring, negotiating, and participating in a variety of business transactions as legal counsel and principal. Since 1994, Mr. Gibson has sourced, acquired, developed and sold over $250 million dollars in Houston real estate. Through a variety of investment vehicles, Mr. Gibson bought, restructured, and sold discounted loan packages from the FDIC; owned and operated hotels in Texas and Illinois and a ski resort in New Mexico; acquired or developed numerous retail, office, and industrial real estate projects in Texas; and, most recently, actively participated in the acquisition, operations and consolidation of used auto parts distribution and salvage yards. Mr. Gibson obtained a B.S. in Civil Engineering from Notre Dame and a JD from Southern Methodist University School of Law.
