Peter Shaper Bio

Peter is a founding partner of Genesis Park and GP Capital and has extensive operating experience. Previously, Peter was CEO of Speedcast International (ASX:SDA) the largest global satellite services provider with offices in 72 countries around the globe. Peter was also CEO of CapRock Communications and grew the company from $30 million in revenues in 2002 to over $600 million in revenues in 2011. He was also CFO of the Information Management Group (IMG), which grew to more than $600 million in revenues during his tenure. Early in his career, Peter was employed by McKinsey & Company. Peter currently serves on the Board of Directors of Twenty20 Solutions, HCareers, Pelagic Holdings and Hines Global REIT Liquidating Trust. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Engineering from Stanford University and a Master of Business Administration from Harvard University. Peter serves on the Management and Investment Committee of GP Capital.
