Ruth Kent Bio

Ruth Kent joined Generation Investment Management in 2023 and is Head of Control, Technology and Finance. Previously, Ruth was with Brookfield Asset Management as managing partner and chief operating officer at Brookfield Renewable Power and Transition. She also served as CEO of Terraform Global (upon its acquisition by Brookfield), CFO of Europe, and head of commercial and power marketing at Brookfield Renewable Partners. Prior to joining Brookfield, Ruth held a variety of roles across the financial, automotive and energy sectors. Ruth completed her Chartered Institute of Management Accountants qualification at Munster Technological University and received an MBA from Henley Business School.
