Kristin Steen is a Managing Director and a member of the Investment Committee at Gemspring Capital. Prior to Gemspring, Kristin was a Managing Director at CCMP Capital, a middle market private equity firm. While at CCMP, Kristin was responsible for all aspects of the investment process, including originating, evaluating, and executing investments, partnering with management teams to drive value creation, and serving on the boards of portfolio companies. She was involved in several of the firm’s investments, including Eating Recovery Center, The Hillman Group, Truck Hero, and other companies in the consumer, specialty manufacturing, and services sectors. Prior to joining CCMP, Kristin worked for Lone Star Funds and HBK Capital Management. Kristin serves on the board of Bradford. Kristin received a BS in Commerce from the McIntire School of Commerce at the University of Virginia.
