Jon Gimbel Bio

Jon is a founding Partner at Gallant Capital and is responsible for all aspects of the firm's activities. Prior to founding Gallant in 2018, Jon was responsible for leading investments for Gores Small Capitalization Partners and was a member of the Gores Small Capitalization Partners Investment Committee. Prior to joining Gores in 2003, Jon was an Analyst at Credit Suisse First Boston, where he focused primarily on mergers and acquisitions and leveraged finance transactions in the Media and Telecommunications group. Jon serves on the Board of Directors of all Gallant portfolio companies. Jon is also an active member of the Board of Directors of Ready to Succeed, an organization that empowers youth impacted by foster care to graduate college, launch successful careers, and reach their full potential. Jon received a B.B.A. in Finance and Accounting with Honors from the University of Texas, and an M.B.A. from the Harvard Business School.
