John Philp Bio

John has been integral to building Fulcrum's team and its reputation for integrity and fairness by contributing his ability to build relationships, coupled with his principled and disciplined approach to investing. He is the chair of the Fulcrum investment committee and plays a key role in the firm's portfolio management. Prior to joining Fulcrum in 2002, John was a Managing Director in the equity capital markets division at a multinational bank, after years of holding various positions within the investment banking industry. He holds a BA (Honours) Economics from Queen's University, an MBA in Finance and Accounting from McGill University, as well as the ICD.D designation. John’s charitable efforts include his role as past Chair of Wellspring Cancer Support Foundation.
