Karl Shum Bio

Karl Shum is a Principal at Francisco Partners. Based in San Francisco, he joined the firm in 2013. Karl currently serves on the boards of BeyondTrust and RedSail. He also previously served on the boards of Dynamo, eSolutions, HealthcareSource, Ichor, K2, and Plex. Karl has a B.S. in Mathematics from the University of Chicago as well as an MBA from Stanford GSB. He previously worked at Sears Holdings and Credit Suisse.
