As Business Development Director at Founders, Ailsa is focused on originating new acquisition opportunities to compliment the existing Founders portfolio. Founders is a family firm that combines 30 years’ private equity experience in over 80 companies with deep operating knowledge. The firm invests its partners’ own capital and focuses on applying operating know-how in medium-sized food businesses, with a view to building thriving organizations over the long term. Prior to joining Founders, Ailsa gained experience with progressively senior roles at M&M Mars, Frito-Lay, Safeway Stores, and The Coca-Cola Company in customer marketing, consumer marketing, and buying / category management. Ailsa has a Bachelor of Arts in Russian and French Language & Literature from Oxford University, graduating in 1990.
