John Carretta Bio

Prior to founding Forest Hill Partners, John was a Principal with Monument Capital Partners, a middle market private equity firm based in Indianapolis. Prior to Monument, John worked for Warrior (now called Cutfield, Freeman and Company), a London-based mergers and acquisitions advisory firm providing corporate finance advisory services to companies in the mining, metals processing and industrial minerals industries. Prior to Warrior, John worked in Chicago for Bank of America as an Associate in both their Corporate Finance Group and in GEI-Europe, a private equity group focused on making direct equity investments in European companies. Upon graduation from Notre Dame, John worked in New York for Goldman Sachs & Co. as a Financial Analyst. John holds an MBA from Northwestern's J.L. Kellogg Graduate School of Management and a BBA from the University of Notre Dame.
