Donald Edwards Bio

Don founded Flexpoint Ford in 2005 and has been our Managing Principal and Chief Executive Officer since inception. Don began his private equity career in 1994 at GTCR, a leading Chicago-based private equity firm, where he was a Principal, headed the healthcare investment effort and for part of his tenure, chaired the firm’s Investment Committee. At GTCR, Don also invested in transaction processing and financial services companies. Prior to joining GTCR, Don was an investment banker at Lazard, Ltd. where he focused on mergers and acquisitions in financial institutions and other industries. Don holds a B.S. degree in finance with highest honors from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School where he was a Baker Scholar.
