Mr. Quake serves as a Managing Partner of First Reserve. His responsibilities include overall firm management as well as deal origination and sourcing, due diligence and structuring, financing and transaction execution, and ongoing portfolio management. He joined First Reserve in 2005. Prior to joining First Reserve, he was a member of the investment team at J.P. Morgan’s private equity fund for five years. Prior to J.P. Morgan, he was a member of the Corporate Finance team at Lehman Brothers, Inc.
