Cam Dyer Bio

Mr. Dyer began working with Falfurrias Management Partners in 2021 as Co-Investor and Lead Advisory Board member for Crosslake Technologies. Since that time, he has worked closely with Ed McMahan and the FMP partners to develop and launch FGP I. Mr. McMahan and Mr. Dyer first worked together more than twenty years ago in lower-middle-market private equity and investment banking. Mr. Dyer previously served as Managing Director and Partner of The Carlyle Group, which he joined in 2002. During his 19 years with Carlyle, in which he became Global Co-head of Carlyle’s TMT sector, Mr. Dyer successfully completed investments across application software, data and information technology, IT Services and infrastructure businesses. Prior to joining Carlyle, Mr. Dyer was an Associate with the private equity firm William Blair Capital Partners, a Consultant with Bain & Company, and an Investment Banking Analyst in the M&A Group of Bowles, Hollowell, Conner & Co. He earned his MBA with High Distinction from Harvard Business School, where he was a Baker Scholar, and his BS, Magna Cum Laude, from Washington & Lee University. Mr. Dyer currently serves as a Director on the boards of Cadence RX, Carolina Tractor & Equipment Company, and non-profit Aspire Community Capital. He also serves on the Advisory Boards of Melior Equity Partners (formerly Carlyle Ireland), WSC & Co. and Crosslake Technologies.
