Alex Hawkinson Bio

Alex is an Operating Partner at FalconPoint Partners. Alex leads technology and digital efforts for FalconPoint, and has worked with Russ and Andrew for nearly a decade. Alex is a serial entrepreneur with a track record for building world class companies. One of those businesses, BrightAI (www.bright.ai) was launched with the goal of supporting the technological transformation of businesses alongside the FalconPoint principals. Earlier in his career, Alex founded and sold SmartThings to Samsung, in 2014. At the time, SmartThings was the world’s largest internet of things (IoT) platform. Alex currently serves on the board of directors of Efficient, BrightAI, OurSky AI, Pelsis, Strikepoint, and iFIT. His previous board roles include CSC ServiceWorks, SmartThings, and Latham Group (NASDAQ: SWIM).
