Charles Tuke Bio

Based in London, UK, Charles has provided business development support for Fairford’s UK portfolio since 2007. Charles qualified as a Charted Accountant in 1994 whilst working at KPMG and spent time in commercial finance roles at Diageo plc and Compass Group plc before joining the Fairford family. He has a degree in Economics from the University of Durham. With experience from the food, drink, hospitality and beauty sectors, Charles provides business development advice to help our UK managers create long term value in our companies. As well as holding Director positions in Fairford’s UK companies, Charles’s experience includes time spent as interim CEO or CFO of some of Fairford’s UK businesses to bring about change, lead major strategic projects or to help prepare them for acquisition or disposal. Charles lives in Marlow, UK and enjoys spending time rowing on the River Thames as well as road cycling in the Chiltern Hills. Charles is currently responsible for our investments in Home House Collection, HB Collective and GlobalView.
