Julian Carr Bio

Jules comes from an entrepreneurial family background and he founded Ethos to develop an engaged investor community of friends and contacts to support entrepreneurs to grow interesting smaller businesses. Julian’s private equity career began in 1990, including time at Natwest Ventures, Hg Capital, Lloyds Development Capital and Connection Capital. Having completed over 35 buy out and growth capital investments across a range of sectors, Julian has extensive experience in private equity investment. He’s served on 25 boards and delivered substantial investor returns, exemplified by investments in Virgin Wines and Teamsport Go Karts.
