Rob Ryan Bio

Rob Ryan is a Managing Director, Market Risk in the BPEA EQT team. Rob worked for BPEA from 2014 until 2022, when the company joined forces with EQT and was renamed BPEA EQT. Prior to joining BPEA, Rob was a Director of Asian Rates and FX Strategy at RBS, and he held a similar position at BNP Paribas prior to that. He also has ten years of experience in FX Structuring at Merrill Lynch and BNP Paribas. He started his career in Corporate Finance at Merrill Lynch in Tokyo. Rob graduated with a Bachelor of Arts (Natural Science and Management Studies) from the University of Cambridge and is also a CFA charterholder.
