Kisen Nathu Bio

Kisen joined Encore Consumer Capital in 2006. He is a director of DeIorio’s, Fantasy Cookie, General Produce, Pint Size Hawaii, Tender Belly and Tourtellot. He also helped manage Encore’s investment in Aidells Sausage Company, was a director of Isopure, FreshKO and Mesa Foods, and worked closely with tarte. Kisen is responsible for deal origination and execution as well as portfolio company oversight. Before joining Encore, Kisen worked at CapitalSource Finance, where he provided credit facilities for middle-market companies. Previously, Kisen was an Associate at Piper Jaffray & Co. in their Consumer Mergers and Acquisitions group, where he advised leading consumer products and retail/restaurant companies. He began his career at Morgan Keegan & Co. in their investment banking group. Kisen graduated from Duke University with a BS in Economics. Kisen lives in Burlingame, CA where he enjoys spending time with his wife and their two sons. He is an avid sports fan, and is especially passionate about his alma mater.
