Rafael Romero Bio

Rafael is a Managing Director at Emigrant Capital Corp. and has responsibilities for deal origination, transaction execution, and portfolio management. Prior to joining ECC in 2016, he was an Investment Professional at Prospect Capital Management, a $5 billion publicly traded business development company where he was responsible for originating, executing and managing private equity and debt investments in a variety of industries. Prior to joining Prospect, he was an Analyst at Rockwood Equity Partners, an operationally orientated private equity fund, where he was responsible for transaction sourcing, analysis, due diligence and financing of lower-middle market industrial and service companies. Rafael received a B.A. in Business Administration from Augustana College and an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School.
