Alexander Lorenz Bio

Alexander is responsible for origination, investability assessment and value creation. He has over 20 years of experience in the insurance sector – primarily in Eastern Europe and Turkey (and more recently in the UAE). He began his career at the European Bank of Reconstruction and Development where he was a member of the insurance & pensions investment team. He then moved to ING (CIS) where he was responsible for insurance & pensions and helped establish the ING non-state pension fund before joining NFP Raiffeisen’s pension fund business, ultimately being appointed Chairman of the Council. For many years Alexander was Chairman of the Insurance & Pensions Committee of the Association of European Businesses (CIS) and was a frequent speaker at conferences in this capacity.
