Christian has a strong background in both management consulting and private equity. After eight years with McKinsey & Company, where he was Partner for renowned customers in the field of trade and consumer goods, he joined Apax Partners, who led the largest European Private Equity Fund at the time. During his eleven years with Apax, he focused on retail/consumer, healthcare, industrials and family owned businesses in DACH and Eastern Europe. Christian was Co-Head of Apax's Munich office, had become Partner in 2004 and Equity Partner in 2007. Christian holds a Master's Degree and a Ph.D. in Business Administration from Ludwig-Maximilians-University in Munich.
