With over 20 years of industry experience in global business leadership ranging from large commodity businesses to specialty and service activities as well as corporate functions, Jean-François has a strong track record in turnaround and fast-moving organisations. He started his career in the motion systems industry, then joined a Japanese trading firm. He was successively part of Elf Atochem, Total, and more recently Arkema. He has been based throughout his career in Europe and North America, and has been exposed to different end markets and countries with teams around the world. He has a proven history of value creation and achievement in a variety of situations such as turnarounds, acquisitions, new business launches, corporate restructurings, with an inspirational leadership style that delivers results, e.g. new market segments and market share development by exploiting cross-unit synergies.
