Joao Mariz Bio

João Mariz is a Senior Vice President and member of the investment team. Prior to joining EIG in March 2016, Mr. Mariz worked at Petrobras Africa in the M&A and Strategy group and before that at BTG Pactual. Mr. Mariz brings with him experience in upstream oil and gas valuations, debt financing, treasury and hedging. Mr. Mariz received a B.Sc. in Industrial Engineering from Pontifícia Universidade Católica do Rio de Janeiro.
