Robert Chefitz Bio

Mr. Chefitz has been in the private equity business for over 25 years. During those 25 years, Mr. Chefitz has achieved an investment track record of realized investments generating an IRR of 40% and 42% in the security sector. He began his career with Golder Thoma Cressey, where over seven years he was engaged in a number of industry research-driven investments. His knowledge of the paging, cellular telephone, and funeral home industry led to several industry roll-ups which generated investments with superior returns. He then joined Apax Partners where over the course of fifteen years he served as a General Partner in nine funds representing over $2 billion worth of capital.
