Peter Visser Bio

Peter Visser founded Egeria in March 1997 in association with the Brenninkmeijer family. Since the early days, he has been in charge of building and driving the company forward. Prior to joining Egeria, Peter served as managing director at MeesPierson NV for 7 years where he was responsible for the banks’ private equity activities in Europe. Peter started his professional career in 1983 at McKinsey & Company. He subsequently went on to set up his own consultancy firm (Management & Investment BV) which conducted consultancy and investment activities for the next 6 years. Peter holds a Master’s degree in Business Administration from the University of Groningen. He has always been based in The Netherlands and has a very extensive network of contacts. Working with people and companies is what nurtures and inspires his life and his thinking.
